Are Adults Reliving Their Past In A Manner Of Technology?
When teens use their cellphones they get sucked into sending a text about every minute or two. However are adults starting to follow our cellular ways? The answer to that is yes as so says the article http://www.mobiledia.com/news/114764.html by Janet Maragioglio. She tells us how the adults are beginning to text as much as we do! Adults and their cellphones are starting to get more attached to each other. This may sound crazy but adults are even saying that they would give up having sex before they would let go of their cellphones! Another thing stated is how people can say things on a cellphone text that they would not even dare say in person. This can lead to a plethora of problems with relationships. I have had many things happen to me with a text I have sent or received. It is true that people will say about anything over a text because they are not there in person which there for makes it easier. This also goes for any website that involves chatting. I have had people say the most retched things to me. For example my father died when I was three years old and one day when I was on Facebook and I was in a verbal fight over chat with this girl and the last thing she told me is “ I bet your father did not die in a crash, I bet he killed himself because of you.”. That was the worst thing anyone has ever said to me. This made me cry.People can be so mean and yes I love cellphones but at the same time I hate them because people can say the worst things like the girl said to me. Another thing is people do not even talk on their phones anymore all they do is text. I find it really funny how people will get a cellphone plan that has unlimited calling and text but they will only text and maybe call for about the amount of a hour but their texts will over flow past 500 in a month or so. The question asking if adults are becoming teens again has the answer of true. Yes adults are getting the new way of life that technology has gave us in this century.

Always Wear Your Seat Belt!
In the video Always Wear Your Seat Belt it shows us how you have to be safe when driving. This video hits me deep because as a little girl I lost my father due to non safety. I always wear my seat belt no matter what to keep me safe and also not to end up like my father did. I see so many young and old people not wearing their seat belts and it makes me very sad because just thinking of what can happen to them if they don’t wear their seat belts and if they got into a crash how they can put their loved ones in depression because of them being careless and not wearing a seat belt at all. People need to understand that its not safe and can end up killing you. As the video begins you see the man driving happily but when you see his face you know something bad is going to happen, that is when the mom and daughter come in and become his seat belt and save him from the crash that could easily take his life. There is a guy who went to my school about six years ago and he forgot to put his seat belt on. That mistake ended up in him losing his life. It very sad to hear but you would not hear it as much if people would just put their seat belts on. So next time you get in a car remember to put your seat belt on!

What Are The Affects On You?
The article “ Is Google Making Us Stupid? “ by Nicholas Carr I made a lot of connections. On page two Carr states how he always got distracted, right then and there I completely understood how he felt because I have ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyper Activity Disorder) and that makes me get so distracted or I just shut down and end up failing what ever I’m doing. I also usually do not use the internet for research and looking up information. I use the internet for playing games or looking up pictures of bands I like or just to listen to my favorite music. Although when ever I do look up information on the internet, I find it really hard to concentrate because the computer screen is bright and gives me a headache that and the information isn’t always clear and I much rather use a textbook. The internet has also made me stop reading books and what is rally bad is that student who have a class book project don’t even have to read the book! All they have to do is get on the internet and look up the book and they can find what the whole book is about or just the few questions bout the book their teacher is giving them when the students should just have to read the book word by word till the end so they get some learning from it and not just cheat. Carr also states how the internet has made our minds work to the point where our attention span cant stay focused on anything more then a few paragraphs. With me its more like two paragraphs. People think that reading online is a lot easier then reading in a book or textbook. But I strongly disagree because a textbook or book does not have any flashing annoying icons blabbing about how you can lose weight or other random things etc. and distract you from the text you are trying to read. Another thing pointed out was the Chinese language. I am taking Chinese 1 and it is true that Chinese does not have a alphabet which in tern makes it very hard to remember. Internet is making peoples reading skills drop lower by the years because people spend to much time on instant messaging and or spending hours on their cellular devices. So if you are going to take another language different from your own then make sure you know yours good enough before you decide to learn more. Now to typing, typing has had a effect on people to. It makes them lazy and not want to spend the time it takes to write a page or essay by hand so instead they type it in a matter of minutes. The affect typing has had on me is very sad because when I type my language skills are not as good as my writing skills. If I’m typing I sound like a robot with no humor or feelings, yet if im writing on paper I use the most amazing words that you would never thought I would even use. So when I read this article “ Is Google Making Us Stupid? ' I in fact believe it does. What has internet and new technologies done in your life?

Another Storm Hits Japan.
In the artical Talas Hits Shikoku from "The Japan Times" the whole artical tells us how poor Japan gets hit by yet ANOTHER bad strom. 2 people are dead, 67 are injured and 13 are missing due to mudslides and flooding. This articale hits me deep in my heart beause the country of Japan just had the worst storm in history and they are slowly recovering from it and now another storm hits them again! I love Japan not only because their language is cool but also because I ialways watch their animes and read their mangas.Japan is a great place even though I have not been there I still belive it is a great place. Some people ask me why I love Japan so much and they bring up Pearl Harbor. I tell those people that they we have done things to other countries to so Japan isnt the only one at fault. The reason why im writing this blog is because i support Japan and try to help them all I can. So next time you see a fundraiser you need to think about all of the needy people in Japan without homes food and water. Hope For Japan!
